Hewlett Packard printer cartridges, or any name brand printer ink for that matter, sell at a price that is literally more expensive than gold. Yes, you've heard me right. You may be ordering replacement Hewlett Packard printer cartridges for 30 dollars or more for a measly half an ounce of ink, and paying more than the price of a half ounce of gold.
I finally got tired of being robbed, so I recently ordered a package of Hewlett Packard printer cartridges for my deskjet from a knockoff company. Printer manufacturers are very smart, printer prices are dropping like a rock, in fact they are the lowest they have been in years. But they aren’t concerned, they have another way of making their money. It’s through the astronomical price of printer ink.
So, I thought, that instead of buying Hewlett Packard printer cartridges directly from the company, I would buy knockoff ink cartridges for a fraction of that. I had a friend who did the same thing for his Hewlett Packard laser printer, and was exstatic with his savings. He runs a business making copies, so he is under a lot of pressure to get the best laser printer refills for the cheapest price. He assured me that I wouldn't regret buying an off brand Hewlett Packard printer cartridge in bulk over the internet, but he was wrong.
My package of bulk Hewlett Packard printer cartridges arrived cracked, broken, leaking and dried up. There was absolutely no way to use a single one of them. They were all either completely empty, or completely dried out. And what is even worse is I had ordered my Hewlett Packard printer cartridges refills from an obscure overseas website. So there was absolutely no way to get a refund. I tried to call their bogus help line, emailed their tech support too many times to count, and got no help or refund what so ever. So, I chalked it up to another lesson learned the hard way.
