Adobe Photodeluxe is a popular and useful image editing program. The features on this software are very user friendly and capable of creating quick digital photo touch ups for personal photos or spectacular graphic design imagery for professional website design.
Adobe has a wide range of photo software products, but Adobe Photodeluxe is my personal favorite because it’s a great start for a beginner. Photodeluxe comes with a comprehensive help section and easy navigation tools. The quickest way to learn a new program, especially an image editing piece of software like Adobe Photdeluxe, is to just open it up and start messing around with all the features on a practice photo. You can turn your photos into oil paintings, black and white portraits, or get really creative with neon colors or glass textures.
One great feature Adobe Photodeluxe has is the ability to compress digital photos. Now you can transfer photos from your camera reduce the red eye or crop an image and then store them in an organized folder. I often resize ten a time, but newer computers might handle more. The amount of memory on your computer will determine how many you can do in one shot. You can resize photos by pixel size or photo size which is a convenient feature too.
Adobe Photodeluxe also allows you to save your photos in any file type you need, there are settings for jpeg, gif and bmp, which are the most common photo file types. There are also settings available for flash and other complicated graphic design settings if needed.
One of my favorite features of Adobe Photodeluxe is the eraser tool. This handy little feature allows you to remove unwanted backgrounds from pictures and replace them with anything. Kids will love making silly photos by using the majic cut tool, you can cut pieces from different photos to create a collage.
You can also use Adobe Photodeluxe to repair photos. It just takes a couple of clicks of your mouse to repair a scratch or wrinkle on an old photo. You can also adjust the lightness and darkness of a photo using this software, if you old family photos have darkened or gotten yellow over the year, you can easily change the hue and make it just about as good as new.
While this program is highly useful and easy to use, you can run into problems if you upgrade your computer’s operating system. Adobe Photodeluxe Home Version 3.1 is not compatible with Windows XP. I recently found this out the hard way after switching to XP, but I was able to fix the problem with a download a file available at the Adobe website, and I now the problem is resolved.
