Running a pop up blocker on your computer system is an absolute must if you don’t want to be inundated with constant pop up ads. There ought to be law against those dam pop up advertisers dominating my time with their continuous interruptions.

Four or five years ago when pop ups first started hammering me, I was so fed up that I couldn’t even work for more than 2 or 3 minutes without a stupid pop up ad in my face. Then I brought it to the attention of my new boyfriend and he said “oh yeah, you just need to go get a pop up blocker download at Microsoft and the pop up ads won’t be able to break in.”

Checking out Microsoft’s website, I discovered that pop up blocker downloads were very popular and easy to install. I also noticed that you can buy pop up blocker software for an absolute pittance compared to the amount of grief the darn pop up ads were causing me. I swear, I would have paid 500 bucks to get rid of those maddening pop ups.

These days though, using a pop up blocker is standard. Any internet browsing software, operating systems, and many search engine websites have their own pop up blocker downloads available. The Google pop up blocker is very easy to install and it blocks almost every thing. The Mozilla pop up blocker works well too. And their fancy web browsers are very handy to surf and search the internet with as well.

Fortunately, pop up ad blockers seem to do a pretty good job, I am rarely bothered by pop ups these days.  Just for fun I tried to disable pop up blocker the other day, and it was so ridiculous I couldn’t even use the internet.

Why anyone in their right mind would actually think even for a second that a pop up ad would compel someone to buy their product is beyond me.  You’d think the invention of the whole pop up blocker industry would be a hint.  Everyone I know or have ever talked to about the subject uses effective pop up blocker software to keep from pulling their hair out.
